Bergamot requires a very special climate in order to thrive, which makes it a very delicate member of the citrus family. Bergamot has been widely used by Italians for decades as a stress reliever and skin rejuvenator. Greek people eat the unripe Bergamot fruit as a treat to go with their coffee. Bergamot provides both a calming effect, as well as an uplifting one, making it ideal for the diffuser. It may also promote healthier skin when applied topically.
